Jayden, aged 13 years old, was a typical fit and healthy boy. He loved playing video games, listening to music and seeing his friends.
But his world was turned completely upside down when he suffered a brainstem stroke. As a result of the stroke, Jayden will need ongoing support with his breathing and communication.
For Jayden’s wish, we were delighted to grant him an iPad and headphones. These will allow him to listen to familiar songs and movies. Something as simple as this will help alleviate Jayden’s stress and anxiety levels when he is unable to communicate.
As Jayden recovers, his new iPad will provide a vital tool to his communication and will help give him a sense of independence.
