Earlier this year Alexander, aged 9, was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone disease. His fight has been very up and down, but throughout his various treatments and hospital appointments, he has remained so brave and positive.
He has always been a fan of Steve Backshall, wildlife TV presenter, naturalist and adventurer, and so for his wish he wanted to meet Steve Backshall.
We were delighted to be able to grant Alex’s wish and sent him off to see Steve Backshall’s Wild World Tour. After the show Alex was taken backstage to meet the man himself!!
Mum said “Everything was great last night. Thank you so much. Alex met Steve Backshall back stage and spoke with him. It was amazing. Thank you so much!”
Alex’s fight is ongoing and his options for treatment are limited. Despite this he remains a real trooper.
