We are pleased to confirm that members of Ilkley & District Round Table (No.232) and partners successfully completed the ‘Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge’ on Saturday 22nd April.
The challenge started at 07.00hrs and was completed after a gruelling 11hours totalling 39.2km (24.5miles) and 5200ft (1585m) in ascents and descents.
“It was pretty hard going at times as it rained for the first 6 hours and the sole of my boot came completely off with 5 hours still to walk but managed to hold it together with some medical tape and a sock!”

Ilkley and District Round Table have now raised over £3000 pounds for Round Table Children’s Wish, which will make a huge difference to a number of young people’s lives.
